Petri Hopia, in his dream job: this is a job where I can develop all the time

The warehouse of an electronics company in Tampere is bustling with activity as electronics products are shipped all over Finland and the world. Warehouse manager Petri Hopia from the logistics company Transval is responsible for the warehouse's operational activities.

- My daily routine includes picking and packing products, maintaining the warehouse and other tasks in the warehouse. I find the work very motivating. We have a good team here, which makes the days even more enjoyable, Petri says.

Petri decided to work in logistics after studying for a Bachelor's degree in logistics, a training program in warehouse services and a diploma as a warehouse attendant. He came to Transval and his current job just over a year ago. His previous job ended due to the pandemic and companies stopped ordering freelance photography services at the same rate. Petri applied for a warehouse and logistics job and was quickly contacted by Transval. He is grateful for how quickly he finally got the job.

- I am happy that I have finally found and got the job I have always wanted. It's also great to see how much knowledge I've built up in my job over the past year.

In my free time, Petri does whatever I feel comfortable with at any given moment. "I spend more time outdoors and sometimes I watch streaming services or stream on Twitch," Petri says. For Petri, the future looks bright in the logistics sector. The opportunities for personal development also seem almost limitless.

-If you work hard with the right attitude and a willingness to learn, anything is possible!
