Concrete working together

Lujabetoni has started manufacturing precast concrete elements in an industrial complex already familiar to Transval in the Wärtsilä area in Järvenpää.

Lujabetoni and Transval have signed a multi-year cooperation agreement for the logistics management of the factory site. The package includes the receipt of materials, intra-area transfers, warehouse management of finished products, loading and property management of the warehouse areas.

"Lujabetoni's investment in Finland's largest ever precast factory in Järvenpää brings new challenges in logistics management and in-house movements of elements. For the mega-factory, Tranval's partnership brings clear advantages to these challenges, also in terms of human and machine resources." Transport Manager Pekka Ruotsalainen

The solution not only provides Lujabetoni with professional workmanship, but also with the principles of continuous development in its in-house logistics operations. Transval will also be able to offer flexible manpower and machinery resources according to the season. For Transval, Lujabetoni is an important head start in logistics for the building products industry and enables the logistics know-how gained in other industries to be applied to the construction industry.

"Lujabetoni Oy is a leading concrete industry company in Finland with more than 60 years of experience. We serve both professional and private builders in sustainable concrete construction.
