The vacancies can be found on our website and you can apply for a job by submitting an application via the website. If there is no suitable vacancy, we recommend sending us an open application. Remember to tell us as much as possible about the kind of work you are looking for and at what times you are available for work.
Do I need to have a forklift operator’s card to work at Transval?
Not having a forklift operator’s licence does not prevent you from working for us. One of the main goals of the recruiting process is to find the right person for each job. Our units provide training for machine operators and forklifts are not needed in all jobs.
What type of education is required for different tasks?
Applicants do not need to have a logistics degree, although that would of course be very beneficial if you aim for a career in logistics. The requirements vary for different positions and they are described in the job advertisements. Logistics degrees cover the basic warehouse processes and the use of machinery. But most of all, we appreciate a good attitude and the desire to keep learning. Transval also provides logistics training for its employees, both internally and through co-operation with various schools, in order to support their skills and development.
What kind of jobs do you offer?
We operate in all areas of internal logistics. Each employee’s tasks depend on experience and include several types of warehouse, terminal and packaging work. The most common types of warehouse work are collection, sorting and packaging.
What type of skills or experience could be helpful?
For some jobs you need good physical fitness, so that is of course helpful in all warehouse positions. Being proactive and reliable will always take you far!
What is a good application like?
A good job application includes information on what kind of work you are looking for, in what area and what kind of hours you can work. In addition to the tasks themselves, the work hours in each unit vary, so the more you tell the recruiter about your wishes and availability, the easier it is for them to find a matching job. Focus on providing relevant information about yourself. We receive a lot of applications and are more likely to contact you if you have taken the time to tell us about yourself and your skills.
Remember to include all of the requested information – it’ very important from the recruiter’s point of view!
